Many years ago, a creature called Cat crawled out of the swamplands of Southeastern Louisiana and unleashed herself on the world.

Growing up, she quickly learned that words were her secret weapon. She armed herself well, devouring every book in sight and throwing herself into every grade school book report, journal entry, and birthday card inscription like a recluse devising her next masterpiece.

Despite all the reading she’s done, she has yet to figure out the meaning of the word “chill”. Her resting heart rate is that of a normal person being hunted for sport and she generally moves through the world like a caffeine-powered freight train. It’s been working so far.
